Sopro na Argila
The collection "Sopro na Argila” was launched in 2022 in collaboration with Luciana Brito Galeria. Fernando and Humberto Campana have developed a new series of terracotta pieces, consisting of tables and lamps that capture both Brazilian regional typology and the artists’ emotional memories. Returning to their origins in Brotas, in the interior of São Paulo, they revisit their relationships with their surroundings during their childhood and adolescence, and the discovery of one of the first materials in their repertoire: clay. Essential to Brazilian vernacular culture, it receives contemporary tones in the hands of the duo, elevating it from the banal to the original.
